Outpost Open Roads

In the summer of 2018, Outpost, an experiential marketing agency for outdoor brands, brought me on to art direct and create still photography on a co-branded storytelling project with brands like Merrell, Kiva, Bulleit, Helinox, and a few others. The premise was to photograph two women in the outdoor industry, Sasha Cox and Alyx Schwarz, on a real trip, celebrating how both founded their own companies to empower women and bring us into the outdoors. Over the course of five days, the photo and video crew went on an adventure with Sasha and Alyx in the Eastern Sierras. We could only shoot early in the morning or in the evening, as the relentless 100°F days forced the crew to shelter inside the air conditioned production RV. The short film was produced by Outpost, with Eric Bach and Evan Dudley at the production helm. I art directed and styled all the product in the shoot, and the talented Brandon Moore of Bone and Gold DP-ed and post-produced the video.
