Nudes in Nature
Over the years I’ve been working on a series of nude portraits of people, mostly women, in natural environments. In this series, I make sure there are no man-made elements in any of the compositions. My intent is to depict humans as a natural component of nature, not in a separate universe. The way a tree, a rock, a fish, or a cloud fit into a natural environment, so do we–even if we forget sometimes. We are part of nature, not apart from it.
